Peer pressure is something we all face in our lives. One time I feel peer pressured was when my best friend tried to pressure me to steal a box of hair dye. My friend and I were in tenth grade when we stop at a Rite Aid after school one day. She said she wanted to dye her hair red and asks me to put a box of hair dye in my backpack. I looked at her like she was crazy, but she says, Just do it! I really didnt know what to do. I was afraid I am on camera, but I dont want my friend to be mad at me. So I put the dye in my backpack. I must have been on camera, because the next thing I know, I am being stopped by a security guard. He asked to look in my backpack, and I start to cry. My friend just runs out the door without looking back. The security guard lets me go with just a warning, but now I wish I had never done it. The experience of being pressured to steal showed me that its best not to give into peer pressure because only you know whats best for you.
