Weakness
Poor infrastructure development Conventional tourism Investment Low utilisation of modern marketing and publicity tools. Uneven progress Incidents of Harassment Lack of concern for competitiveness Law and order

Opportunities
Common wealth games Mind blowing tourist spots like taj mahal Medical tourism Strengthen our economy Incredible India and other campaign High potential

Threats
Terrorism Naxlite activities Natural disasters Health crisis Safety Gap between demand and supply of manpower

Change in perception
Engine

of growth for the economy and a key generator of employment. Imports that earn foreign exchange Cultural revival/regeneration Low capital investment in trade

My View point
India Deserves to be the No.1 country in the world for tourism : If the strengths are realized Weakness is identifies and overcome Opportunities are utilized properly and efficiently. And last but not least to nullify the threats to the least.
