Overview
IP Office 4.2 can now generate SMDR directly without need for Delta Server. SMDR output is sent directly to a TCP port. Fields and formatting similar to Delta Server SMDR. Enhanced documentation of expected SMDR output in IP Office Manager Help files.

Delta Server SMDR is still supported in IP Office 4.2.

Call Splitting for Diverts


Gives separate SMDR output for Calls to External line at point they are Forwarded, targeted externally by ICR, or Mobile Twining Separates external and internal call durations.

IP Office vs. Delta Server SMDR


Advice of Charge
Delta Server: appends these fields at the end of an ISDN call if AOC-E is supported. IP Office: always includes these fields (blank if AOC-E not present).

Authorization Code Fields


Delta Server: Fields present if PC registry key is defined. IP Office: These fields are always present, but blank if no Auth-Codes are defined.

Additional Fields for External Outgoing Call Routing


IP Office: only.(These will be covered in detail on later slides)

Call ID on IP Office reset


Delta Server: Call ID starts from 1. IP Office: Call ID starts from 1,000,000.

Note.. This can lead to Party1 and 2 being swapped due to priority of extensions over lines.

Parked and Held Time


Delta Server: included the time a call was parked in both the Park Time and Hold Time fields. IP Office: separates parked and held times.

Additional Fields in IP Office 4.2 SMDR


Three new fields, only present in IP Office generated SMDR. Fields are empty except when call gets sent to external line.
External Targeting Cause
Why call was targeted at external line, what type of entity was responsible for it, and how.

External Targeting Id
Name/Tag/identifier of internal device which caused call to be sent to external line

External Targeted Number


The number sent to the external line where as the existing fields give the original call targets. Shown for call forwarding, mobile twining, and calls targeted externally by ICR.

Diagnostics
IP Office can itself receive SMDR for diagnostic purposes. Configure System to generate SMDR, and send it to an IP Offices IP address Configure and dial a short-code to activate SMDR/CDR sink

SysMonitor filters Call:CDR Extra Diagnostics and Call Detail Records.
