Aluminium
Aluminium is a product with unique properties, making it a natural partner for the building industry It has become an essential product for the building industry and over the past 50 years its use in building applications has shown continuous and consistent growth. Applications of Aluminium in Construction and Building Aluminium extruded, rolled, and cast products are commonly used for window frames and other glazed structures ranging from shop fronts to large roof superstructures for shopping centers and stadiums; for roofing, siding, and curtain walling, as well as for cast door handles, catches for windows, staircases, heating and air-conditioning systems. Most recently, aluminium has played a significant role in the renovation of historic buildings. The characteristics and properties of aluminium as a material have lead to revolutionary and innovative changes in building techniques and architectural and engineering projects. Aluminium is leading the way into the future of the construction industry.

Design Flexibility When used for construction applications, aluminium offers the design engineer and architect the optimum design flexibility. Extruded Aluminium Products The extrusion process, for example, allows an almost infinite range of hollow and solid profiles to be fabricated, combining a variety of design features to suit the end-use application.

Aluminium Panels
Panels can also be produced flat, or in curved shapes for applications such as tanks, silos or cooling towers. Special forms can also be produced on-site with transportable rolling equipment. Aluminium can be sawed, drilled, screwed, bent, welded or soldered, either in a workshop or on a building site. Aluminium Panels are available in wide range of attractive and aesthetic standard RAL COLORS(30), wood, marble, granite ,stone, mirror, brush finish and other special patterns both in high gloss and matte.

The Ability to Incorporate Design Features into Extruded Aluminium Sections The complex shapes achievable with extruded aluminium allow the window designer to incorporate such features as grooves for joints, draft excluders, thermal breaks and glazing beads. When combined with aluminiums high strength-to-weight ratio, the result is a high performance window system.

Flexibility in Surface Finishes Aluminium can also be finished to meet the decorative requirements of the application. The most common means of finishing aluminium surfaces are anodizing and painting, following a pre-treatment process, which enhances the natural corrosion resistance of the material and ensures a good bond with the surface treatment. A wide range of fade free surface finish colours are available, in high, medium or low gloss formulations. Anodizing Aluminium Building Products Anodizing involves the application of natural or coloured oxide films through an electrolytic process. The anodised surfaces of aluminium construction products are hard and durable, often outlasting the life expectancy of the buildings in which they are used. They offer excellent corrosion resistance and, being smooth, are easy to clean. Painting Aluminium Building Products Painted surfaces can be produced either by coating individual products or by continuous coil coating.

Aluminium Composite Panels Aluminium Composite Panels are manufactured in thickness of 1mm to 6 mm and width of 1200 to 1600 mm with most advanced new technology first time in India. The three roller high technique provides smooth and superior flatness, high peel-off strength and impact resistance compared to other conventional manufacturing process. Aluminium Composite Panel is a revolutionary and versatile new decorative building material widely used in interior and exteriors of buildings as curtain walls, paneling and cladding applications. It offers innovative, modern, beautiful, creative and practical design possibilities for a variety of applications including panel for modern high rise buildings satisfying every need of architects, engineers, contractors and building owners.

Aluminium Composite Panels are easily folded, curved, shaped, punched and drilled using conventional tools and equipments used in wood and metal fabrications. This enables the architects and designers to be more flexible in their creative applications and help to achieve the desired aesthetics of buildings in the more demanding market.
Aluminium Composite Panel is composed of a non combustible polyethylene core laminated and sandwitched between two high alloy fine aluminium sheets, coated with superior quality PVDF (Fluorocarbon, min 70%) resin or polyester to ensure durability, stability, corrosion and weather resistance.

structural glazing

A Structural Glazing System is available in order to eliminate either vertical and/or horizontal aluminum from the external facades. This allows architects to design monolithic facades without interruption by aluminum strips and gives better appearance more likely glass depends on the architects requirements.

Aluminum Plate
Range of aluminum plate readily available in virtually all sizes and thickness ranges to meet the multiple applications of several industries. This also ensures sufficient inventory of popular sizes to meet real time requirements in the most cost-effective manner. These aluminium plates are strong, light in weight and excellent at resisting moisture. These plates welds well with proper equipment and are easy to drill, machine, shear and form. Our aluminum plates find ample applications in various industries such as aviation, aerospace, construction, defence, etc.

Aluminium wiring
Because of its high conductivity and relatively low price compared with copper in the 1960s, aluminium was introduced at that time for household electrical wiring in the United States, even though many fixtures had not been designed to accept aluminium wire. But the new use brought some problems: The greater coefficient of thermal expansion of aluminium causes the wire to expand and contract relative to the dissimilar metal screw connection, eventually loosening the connection. Pure aluminium has a tendency to "creep" under steady sustained pressure (to a greater degree as the temperature rises), again loosening the connection. Galvanic corrosion from the dissimilar metals increases the electrical resistance of the connection. All of this resulted in overheated and loose connections, and this in turn resulted in some fires. Builders then became wary of using the wire, and many jurisdictions outlawed its use in very small sizes, in new construction. Yet newer fixtures eventually were introduced with connections designed to avoid loosening and overheating. At first they were marked "Al/Cu", but they now bear a "CO/ALR" coding.

Environmental Benefits of Aluminum Are Many

Aluminum construction products offer numerous environmental benefits as well. For example, a survey of aluminum producers in 2003 indicated that the total recycled content of domestically produced, flat rolled products for the construction market was approximately 80-85%. A subsequent survey indicated that on average, nearly half of the recycled content (40-42%) is from post-consumer sources. Aluminum Recylable at End of Buildings Life The ability to recycle aluminum building products is also becoming more important as more building owners decide to deconstruct rather then demolish older buildings. Instead of simply going in with a wrecking ball, owners are now much more deliberate about how they take down a building in order to extract as much recyclable material as possible. By doing so, they not only retain the scrap value of a material such as aluminum but also eliminate the environmental impact and cost of dumping it in a landfill. Aluminum recycling also reduces energy consumption. To produce aluminum from recycled material, for example, requires only 5% of the energy required to produce aluminum from bauxite. In addition, every ton of recycled aluminum saves four tons of bauxite.
