• The AquaPro principles:

• With the ‘Waterboxx’ a tree is planted on top of the soil, so that the capillary is not
destroyed when planting.
• In the middle of the ‘Waterboxx’ there is space to put a seed, a plant or a tree.
• This plant can develop its roots under the ‘Waterboxx’.
• The ‘Waterboxx’ produces water via artificial condensation and rainwater.
• It distributes the collected water to the plant on a daily base.
• It stimulates the rise of the capillary water to the top of the soil under the
‘Waterboxx’.
• It prevents evaporation of the capillary water.
• It prevents the development of weeds around the plant.
• It prevents grazing of the plants by a certain variety of animals.
• It prevents erosion of the soil around the plant and heating of the soil around the
plant.
• It stimulates a balanced temperature in the root area.
• The advantage of planting on the soil means that it can also be used for planting on
rocks.

• In the past, planting trees was not possible on

eroded land, rocks and deserts
• Irrigation is too expensive and the need of energy
too high
• There’s not enough ground- or river water (and it
is partly necessary for the people living in cities)
• With the WaterBoxx eternal water: from air
• Over 3 times lower costs than with irrigation
• Previously useless land changes to valuable land
that can be used both as an input and collateral
• Previously useless land can be given to famers
• No energy needed

• If we want to combat the 7 world problems in
2050 we need to act now

circumstances than they have now

AquaPro principle

• With the WaterBoxx developing countries can produce

fruit, food, medicines, perfumes, wood, energy,
combat erosion and capture CO2 with land that is
currently hardly used
• These products will develop service industries
• Economical development helps reduce rural;-urban
migration
• The WaterBoxx has the big advantage that it can be
invested through microfinance: a small farmer cannot
finance a well and expensive irrigation. He can
however annually buy 10 WaterBoxxes
• With 10 WaterBoxxes he can plant 100 trees in 10
years
• The WaterBoxx is easy to use, simple to explain, has
no moving parts and uses no energy

a lifesaver if necessary
