About The Industry: ( Edible Oil Industry)


The Oil and food Industry is a very important industry in the

world and a lot depends on the price of the oil and it has been observed that whenever the oil and food price increase the price

of various products also increases.

According to the statistics the amount of oil and food consumed

by the world every year is as many as 30 billion barrel among


which nearly 25 percent of the oil and food consumption.

Growth of company
Vimal Oil & Foods Limited has registered a net profit of Rs 97.34

lakh for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 registering a growth of 22.19 per cent.
According to un-audited financial results for the first quarter of

current fiscal released on July 31, the company posted a net sales income of Rs 100.59 crores.
compared to net sales income of Rs 67.08 crores in the same

period last year recording a growth of 49.95 per cent.
