WRLDC (Western Regional Load Dispatch Centre) successful implemented POWER NETWORK ANALYSIS(PNA) sub system of ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(EMS) after proper tuning of STATE ESTIMATOR(SE).

Provides review of execution status of each contingency selected. Indicates whether contingency is converged or diverged or not executed. SI (Severity Index)-provide to rank the contingency. Ranking is done by severity index of voltage or branch violation limits

CONCLUSION
CA module of PNA extends valuable inputs to the system operators in evaluating credible contingency so that preventive action can be planned well in advance to ensure the security of grid.
