Initially it used to import the two wheelers from outside, but from 1959 it started manufacturing of two wheelers in the country. Reported by The Economic Times, Bajaj is looking for acquistions of Triumph Motorcycles or Ducati. Bajaj has a merger with Kawasaki(India) and is the main distributor of Ninja.

THREAT
The competition catches-up any new innovation in no time. Threat of cheap imported motorcycles from China. Margins getting squeezed from both the directions (Price as well as Cost) TATA Ace is a serious competition for the three-wheeler cargo segment.
FUTURE GOALS
Along with Renault they are ready to launch there new concept car Bajaj lite. Bajaj RE60 from Bajaj Auto Ltd. is the much awaited car, which will soon make its way to the Indian automobile market. The company has finally stepped into the four wheeler segment of the Indian.
