Support package consideration

Combination of different support packages between consumer and producer are possible.
SAP is doing extended qualification only for the following support packages combinations:
Consumer

and producer on the same release (e.g, 7.00) - SPn is fully qualified with producer SPn-1, SPn, SPn+1
Consumer

and producer on different releases see Equivalence Relationships

table

Other combinations are supported and should work according to the VI matrix, but were not extensively qualified.

Application criteria Is an application supported in FPN landscape(*)? At least one criteria should be met:

Consumer producer

Content from producer X can be shared with consumer Y only if it is compatible with consumer Y version and producer X version independently

VI matrix + Application is FPN compliant

When is Application FPN Compliant?

Application that follows the FPN Development guidelines or test guidelines, is FPN compliant. This means it can work in FPN landscape, in any combination that is supported with the VI matrix Development guidelines Set of guidelines that if the application follows, it should work in FPN landscape Test guidelines The application should be tested in FPN landscape (i.e, deployed on producer, integrated into the consumer via RDL\RRA and functionally tested in the consumer) .
