SCVMM 2008 SETUP

Install MS SCVMM 2008 Server

Start setup.exe from the MS SCVMM 2008 DVD or trainer share (on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64) Click Server (SETUP caption) Accept the license Setup will check all prerequisites

Choose installation path and SQL Server 2005

Create default Library If needed change the default Ports (wizard register windows firewall exceptions) Install

Install MS SCVMM 2008 Server Administrator Console

Start setup.exe from the MS SCVMM 2008 DVD or trainer share Click on Administrator Console (SETUP caption) Accept the license Setup will check all prerequisites

Choose installation path

If needed change the default port to connect to SCVMM 2008 Server (default: 8100) Install
