Conditions of the Mind

What condition is your mind in? A mind that is to busy is abnormal. The mind is normal when it is at rest-not blank, but at rest. J. Meyer Is it peaceful or worrisome? Joyful or fearful?

1 Corinthians 2:10-11 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond mans scrutiny].11-For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a mans thoughts except the mans own spirit with him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

1 Kings 19: 11, 12 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the lord was not in the earthquake; And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a
still small voice.

Remember the mind should be peaceful Lack of concentration could be a sign your mind is under attack Isaiah 26:3 thou wilt keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, Prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given, you, when Jesus Christ is revealed. Prepare your minds for action through renewing your mind with the Word of God and entering into His presence Remember the enemy is trying to rob you of finishing the task.

The wandering mind can steal your concentration and the wondering mind can steal your peace & joy A wondering mind can lead to reasoning then confusion

James1:5-8 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitation, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord. [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute, [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him; And He will show them His covenant.

Any time we are focused on the problems we become weaker but by faith in Christ as you renew your mind with scriptures for whatever is stealing your peace you can have a healthy (normal) mind one that is at rest waiting to hear the voice of God.
