Handover from Presales Phase Use this steps to collect as much information from the Presales stage, such as:
Description of business processes and functional requirements Time schedule Structure of the company and responsibilities Customized demo database Identify unconventional business processes Identify proposed solutions Identify activity amount and data migration amount if possible
Kick off Meeting with Customer Use this step to meet with the customer to coordinate the expectations and present the Project Plan:
Present implementation methodology. Review Resources available and assign a project manager. Review time schedule.
Process Analysis and Design Get customers business process needs in details :
Compare SAP Business One hardware requirements vs. existing hardware Review data migration needs - type and amount of data. Establish any required integration points for third party. Review critical success factors in each section. Identify any limitations in the out-of-box solution and discuss possible solutions.
Document all major business process Take the time to document all processes discussed with the proposed solutions:
Create a list of limitations or opportunities of the design. Review results of limitations and suggest improvements to current business processes. Solution possibilities User-defined Fields/Formatted Search/Queries/SDK. Specification of possible add-on developments. Revise project plan and assign tasks. Once all steps in the Process Analysis and Design phase have been completed, send to the client for sign off.

Acceptance Test and Approval Use the Acceptance Test to validate the system configuration and implementation of the companys business rules:
Perform any necessary upgrade if a new patch was released before the acceptance. Simulate all major business processes defined above. Simulate major business processes with key users from the client side. Compare the data to established reports. Review the results and decide if ready for production. Make sure you make all the necessary changes based on the testing results and have the client sign off.
Pre Go-Live Review the Pre Go-Live check list to confirm the database is ready for production:
Review the go-live checklist. Create or import opening balances according to the Data Migration and Opening Balances Guide. Create custom user manuals.
Training Conduct Training for the end users using the companys data and configuration:

Working in Test Environment in Parallel to Production Use the backup and restore functionality to have a production environment and one or several testing environments.
Make sure your production database will always contain real data
