All praise and thanks belongs to Allah all did not reveal We praise and thank Allah Whether we praise and thank Allah is mutual exclusive, or is not related to Allah praise and thanks belongs to Allah. This fact is conveyed by Allah in the Quran in 63:1:

All Praise and Thanks belongs to Allah IMPACTS:

Allah did not reveal, Al-hum-dul-lah vs. Al-hum-du-Al-Khaaliq (insert Allah Talas Greatness PP) Proper way to Call on Allah

Fills the scales Fills what is between the heavens and earth Is a sadaqah Part of the dearest statements to Allah Allah is please who states Alhumdulilah at the taking of food and water.

Brothers and sisters Alhumdulilah at minimum means that all the praise and thanks belong to Allah. means as believers we say everything Allah Tala does, whether we understand the reason, wisdom, cause and effect of matters and events in life or not. As believers we are always of the position of being grateful and praise Allah. In other words we accept our mortality and limits by accepting Allahs limitless power, knowledge, wisdom, and all the other attributes that are befitting to Allah.

Alhumdulilah even in time of hardship. Suffering/Hardship occurs to teach us we must adhere to Allahs natural and moral laws. Reason for suffering/hardship to:
Test our faith in Allah which includes our commitment to human values and charity Test our faith in Allah

Believers face the sufferings with prayers, repentance and good deeds. The faithless face the sufferings with doubts and confusions. They blame Allah or make arguments against Him.

Alhumdulilah is Allahs introduction to him, and after this we Allah Tala tells us that He is Master of everything exists.

When Allah is the Master of everything then we are the slaves of Allah.

Definition of Freedom in Islaam: That only when we recognize, know our Creator and we submit to His will do we truly become free. Why is this only true meaning of freedom? Because who best know how we should live than the one who Created us.

Definition of Freedom in Islaam: And if we do not become slaves to Allah, than we become slaves to everything else.

Slaves to our desires, slaves to our whims, slaves to each other, slaves to manmade systems, slaves to power, slaves to money, slaves to fame,

Slaves to how the people think of us, etc, etc, etc.

Definition of Freedom in Islaam: Example of Mariam AS.

Definition of Freedom in Islaam: Example of Mariam AS. Grandmother of Esa AS is saying, Oh my lord, emancipate, liberated, free the child that is in my womb from all slavery, by making this child your slave.

Definition of Freedom in Islaam: Example of Mariam AS. And surely her duaa got accepted as the Our Beloved Rasullah In a hadith that also tells of the success of Mariam and Aasiiaa, Anas reports that the Messenger of Allaah, salla Allaahu alaihi wa sallam, said: 'The best women of human-kind are four: Mariam daughter of `Imraan, Assiya wife of Pharaoh, Khadija daughter of Khu-way-lid , and Fatima the daughter of the Muhammad SAW.' [Bukhari and Muslim]

refers to the Mercy of Allah, at the present, especially, extremely, merciful at the moment. And this only applies to Allah. An example you could say a guy is merciful, but that does not necessarily mean the guy is merciful at the current moment.

Refers to the especially merciful. Meaning Allahs mercy in past and the future.

Abu Hurairah reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying: There are one hundred (parts of) mercy for Allah and He has sent down out of these one part of mercy upon the jinn and human beings and the insects and it is because of this (one part) that they love one another, show kindness to one another and even the beast treats its young one with affection, and Allah has reserved ninety-nine parts of mercy with which He would treat His slaves on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Muslim)

Master can do what He pleases when slave disobeys - Yes Allah our Master lets it slide time and time when we disobey Allahs moral/physical laws. Allahs Mercy is what we want HYPERLINK

Most unjust act is shirk.

We need to fear the justice of Allah, because if Allahs justice begins on us the there is no difference between that justice and Allah Talas punishment. Of course the justice is done for a valid cause, so when Allahs justice begins then His mercy ends.

Teaches that it is impossible to believe Allah and not believe in the afterlife. Believing in Allah or God goes hand in hand with believing in the Day of Judgment.

The reason is if this if one believes in the Creator, Allah, then we have to believe He is perfect in every way, He is flawless, He is immaculate, He is impeccable. If one gives any flaws to God then He is no longer God.

All will reap what they sow Example of imperfect justice of this world

Justice System of this world is imperfect

So now I have realized that all the praise and thanks belongs to the Originator of all that exists Allah , this makes Allah the Master of all that exists, and therefore naturally I am His slave, and this Master is the exceedingly merciful, the especially merciful, and that this perfect Master has put us on this earth to be tested and the injustices that occur in this world that are part of the test have to balance out according to the Justice of this Master, therefore The Master has ordained a day where the balance sheets are balanced and perfect justice is served.

So now I am going to willing give myself to Him by declaring, , You alone do We worship, and we realize that we need the Masters helps, so we learn to we declare You Alone do we seek help from So we willingly give ourselves to the Master, and beseech, and beg His help.

Balance between the competing forces. Now in addition to establishing perfect justice between the needs of the competing forces man vs. women, labor vs. capital, Governments vs. people, body versus soul we also need to balance. So everyone from secularists, to the Buddhist, to the Christians all try to establish a balance and they end up being in imbalanced. So who can bring the balance between the competing forces, again it is the One who created, designed, and engineered these competing forces. That is Allah Tala so we are taught by this

Thus We have made you (true Muslims), a just, middle nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) be a witness over you.

So Again the only true balance can come from Allah Tala.

So we seek the hidah or guidance of Allah. And this is a complete guidance. Guidance between halal and haram, guidance in ethics, guidance in morality, guidance in thought, guidance in food, guidance in drink, guidance in attitude, in short guidance in every sense of the word.

When you are thirsty, how do you ask someone for water. Do you say, Hand me some water. Now imagine you come from hours of being lost in the desert, you are exhausted, you are fatigued, you have a pounding headache from heat stroke and you find someone with water. How would you ask them? You would ask more desperately, more empathetically, more from the heart, with more need, with more urgency You would beg. Now we ask Allah Tala for hidah a least 17 times a day. Do we ask Him like we really mean it, with desperation, with need, with urgency with thirst? I will leave you to answer for yourself and me answer for myself.

Al faathiha starts with knowledge of knowing Allah: Knowledge that all praise and thanks is due to Allah who the Creator, Maker of Allah that exists. Knowledge that Allah is the master of Allah that exists which naturally makes us slaves of this Praise worthy, thank worthy, Master. Knowledge that Allah is the exceeding Merciful, the especially Merciful. Knowledge that Allah is the Master, Owner, and King of the day of Judgment, The second part of the Surat al-Faatiha quickly transfers from the subject of knowledge or belief to action or practice: Action in worshiping Allah Alone. Seeking only His help. Seeking only his complete, just, balanced guidance,

Now all of Islam is like in the Faatiha knowledge and action: You have to have the correct knowledge, which you must follow by the correct action, that is the blessed or correct path so we say after, as Allah revealed: Guide us to the path of those who were successful, So we beseech, seek, entreat and beg Allah Tala guide us to the path of Adam, Noah, Ibraheem, Moses, Esa, and Muhammad SAW. Who are the true heroes, role models, of successful people of history.

Now the incorrect paths are two extremes. What happens sometimes is that people have knowledge but that do not follow it with action. And sometimes people have a lot of action but it is not based on the correct knowledge. Example is the Jews who had the correct knowledge but they did not follow it up with the correct action. The Christians have lots of actions, for example monks, and not marrying women, or Catholic sisters that give their whole lives, but it is action not based on the correct knowledge.

In Al-Faatiha Allah teaches us to seek protections against having the knowledge without action which earns the anger or rage of Allah, and these are Al-ma-gh-doob , the people who earn the rage or anger. Also in Al Faatiha Allah teaches us to seek protection against having action that is not based on the correct knowledge or Ad-daaleen the people who are lost.

So in Al-Faatiha we seek Allahs perfect, complete, balanced guidance, and blessing by saying,

Also in Al-Faathiha we seek Allahs protection against the imbalance, knowledge with no action, and action without correct knowledge by saying,

A simple example to drive home the point of seeking protection of Allah from these two incorrect paths the scholars give. Let us say someone asks you for direction to your house. So you draw up a map and hand them the map, and the person drives towards your house and decides to just throw away the map and not use it. So that would an act of al magh-doob. Someone who had the knowledge and decides to not use it. The other incorrect path is would be like someone who tries to get to your house but does not have a map, does not have a GPS, does not have a phone to call, does not bother to think about asking for directions, so they drivel around aimlessly, so they have a lot of action in driving around to find your house but they never find it because their action is based on ignorance so these are the ad-daa-leen . So in conclusion Al-Faatiha is a summary, a nutshell of the Qurran, and indeed Islaam. The scholars say whoever understands Al-Faatiha has understood the essense of the Qurran and Islaam.
