Introduction to Afghanistan
 Existed 350 years B.C.
 From 1747-1973 Afghanistan has monarchy background (226) years.
 Ahmad Shah Durani was the first king and Dawood Khan was the first
president of Afghanistan (1973).
 Tribes in Afghanistan (40% pashtun, 25.3% Tajik,18% Hazara, 6.3 %
Uzbek, 2.5% Qizilbash and 6.9% others..).
 Agricultural country
 Through the history Afghanistan was occupied by many powers:
7. Great Britain( 1839-1842) by Amir dost Mohd Khan.
8. Soviet Union ( 1979-1989) by Mujahidin
9. Taliban (1996-Nov 2001) by Mujahidin and USA.
10. United States of America ( 11 sept 2001).

 During the passage of history the power has been inherited


by power and cope d’ etates.

Women were imposed to be excluded from society.
Education were prohibited for women

Love marriage was prohibited.

9. Crimes committed against humanity in the name of Islam
