What is e-Governance?
Electronic governance is defined as delivery of government services and information to the public using electronic means.

In simple terms electronic governance can be defined as giving citizens the choice of when and where they can access government information and services.

E-government is defined as utilizing the Internet and the world-wide-web for delivering government information and services to citizens. - United Nations

Importance of Electronic Governance E-governance is the use by government agencies of ICT

to transform relations with citizens, businesses, and other arms of government in the delivery of services.

I-Governance for Inclusion is the process of incorporating individuals, Development peoples, parties, sectors, groups and associations in the
art of running the affairs of government. Interaction means that the rulers and the ruled, the governors and the governed, the leaders and the led must come to terms together. Impact means creating positive changes and reforms as planned, effectively forming good feelings as expected, and transforming mindsets and attitudes as designed. Information means utilizing scientific data, empirical evidences, policies, and decisions.
