Introduction
John Turner first demonstrated artificial leaf in 1998.
A team at Massachusetts Institute of Technology

(MIT) led by Daniel Nocera created the Artificial Leaf in 2011.

Process Involved
Catalyst (Cobalt borate and Nickel molybdenum zinc

alloy) are applied at the sides of the silicon solar cell and it is kept under water in the presence of sunight.

Components

Artificial Photosynthesis

Advantages
It is 10 times more efficient than natural

photosynthesis. The process is done with inexpensive materials. This process can also be done if the water used is not pure.

Conclusion
Thus if this project becomes successful every home

can have its own power system.
