Is Jesus being the son of God all we must believe concerning His identity?
Jesus the son of God is God.

What about the spirit?
There are THREE that make up the Godhead GOD-SON-SPIRIT

Romans 6:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Life and Death Statement Believe, is that all I have to do, believe that the gospel took place?
Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Once we become a christian, will we face persecution?
John 15:20 Remember the words I spoke to you: `No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
Should we count the costs?

Luke 14:26,28 "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple." 28Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it?
