According to UNESCOs ICT Competency Standards for Teachers (2008) to live, learn, and work successfully in an increasingly complex, informationrich and knowledge-based society, students and teachers must utilize technology effectively. Misconceptions about technology

Some misconceptions are:

Technology is the solution. Technology must be taught as a separate subject. Technology must be the focus of the class. Technology must be off in class. The class must be teacher-centered. There is nothing we can do if we dont have Internet connection or a computer lab.
