TETRODE HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE ASSY
$2000/each AMAT cable was obsolete and there were no replacements available. Our team was able to recreate a more robust cable in the same package size while salvaging the special, custom connectors, twice. Total cost, $44 and 3 hours (for both custom cables). The 2nd repair was completed, tool down, within an hour of receiving it, and was installed on the assembly by our technician.

Non Heat Megasonic Generator

At $20k each, its easy to sign a check for $3k for each repair. (actual repair cost avg = $3197) Our team has repaired 14 of these units for a TOTAL COST of $184.00

Weve done this with simple or small parts. We are increasingly tackling more complex items as we get our hands on better repair equipment.

The best part about an internal repair shop is that we are working with you. We are not an external vendor. We can share processes, schematics, ideas and parts. We can control quality, time, priority, and outcome. We want what you want. And we can communicate directly with techs on the floor to make adjustments in real time. When priorities change, so do we.

What we need to succeed

Cost/Value. We are a cost avoidance project whose metrics are based on either replacement cost or repair cost. We need to know the cost of the part you are submitting. Information. The internal repair form (link on last slide) demonstrates the level of information we need. The more info you give us, the more successful your repair will be. Be descriptive, include schematics (even drawings can help). Avoid placing stickers on the part unless it has a large flat panel that is blank. Dont cover any information with a sticker, bag it and place stickers on the bag if you have to.
