How to start?
1. Open up your browser
NOT INTERNET EXPLORER!

2. Go to the online course

http://www.etln.edu.my

Make sure to save the link

Click on: Teacher Sign In (not search)

You will then be taken to this page:

Enter the email address given by MOE/ELT and then press tab . (Your trainer will give this to you.)

When you enter your email address, the system will ask you to sign on via Etln.edu.my. Click here:

You might get this image. If so, click on:

continue to this website (not recommended)

You will then be redirected to Web Single Sign-On Login

Here you will enter your username and password (your trainer will give you these in a moment).

Once you have successfully entered the system, you will see the page below:

Now click on sites

If you see this page you need to wait a bit (up to 5 minutes). Refresh the page after a while.

Wait for a few minutes until this screen appears. Then click on British Council Courses

And. youre in!

The dashboard is the first screen you will see after logging (home screen)

Your courses Click Your courses or go to the Course Finder menu at the top.

Deadlines The course summary contains upcoming activities, deadlines and grades.

Your Profile Make changes to your profile, update the timezone, upload a picture, and add information about yourself.

Access Messages By clicking on Messages you can see messages from your course moderator and other participants.

Changing your profile

Your Profile Click on Edit profile to make changes to your profile.

Is the information correct?

Update Profile Check your first and last name and make changes where required.

Changes you should make

Change the timezone to UTC+8.

Add a description of yourself.

Add a picture!

Update Profile Make sure to scroll all the way down and click on Update profile to save the changes that you made.

Opening up the course

Opening up the course Click on Open to enter Intermediate 1.

Course Overview After opening up the Intermediate 1 course you can see an overview of all the units.

Enter the course Make sure to scroll all the way down and click on Enter to start doing the exercises.

Tracking your progress On the left hand side you can see all the courses that have been completed.
