Methods of solving problems in education

What

Is Problem Solving? A problem-solving model is a systematic approach that reviews student strengths and weaknesses, identifies evidence-based instructional interventions, frequently collects data to monitor student progress, and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions implemented with the student. Problem solving is a model that first solves student difficulties within general education classrooms.

Creative

problem solving is the mental process of creating a solution to a problem. It is a special form of problem solving in which the solution is independently created rather than learned with assistance.

Wait

to fail. A major flaw in the current system of identifying student needs is what has been dubbed the wait to fail approach in which students are not considered eligible for support until their skills are widely discrepant from expectations. This runs counter to years of research demonstrating the importance of early intervention (Presidents Commission on Excellence in Special Education, 2002). Thus, a number of students fail to receive any remedial services until they reach the intermediate grades or middle school, by which time they often exhibit motivational problems and behavioral problems as well as academic deficits.

A problem exists when an obstacle prevents you reaching an objective. Problem solving can be divided into stages, which you must follow methodically. If you want to be sure of finding an effective solution. Solving problems effectively requires a controlled mixture of analytical and creative thinking skills.

Dilemma

of learning disabilities. The learning disabilities (LD) classification has proven especially problematic. Researchers and policymakers representing diverse philosophies regarding disability are generally in agreement that the current process needs revision (Fletcher et al., 2002).

Brainstorming is a group creativity technique by which a group tries to find a solution for a specific problem by gathering a list of ideas spontaneously contributed by its members. The term was popularized by Alex Faickney Osborn in the 1953 book Applied Imagination. In the book, Osborn not only proposed the brainstorming method but also established effective rules for hosting brainstorming sessions.

Inclusive

education practices require people to work together to invent opportunities and solutions that maximize the learning experiences of all children.

Problem

Solvers believe everyone is creative and has the capacity to solve problems. Everyone has heard statements such as Im not creative or I could never come up with those kinds of ideas. Many people limit the many useful ideas that they are capable of generating by minimizing their personal creative potential. The fact is that people use their creative problemsolving abilities constantly in daily life without even noticing it. Creative abilities are being used every time a person rearranges the furniture, makes a substitution in a recipe, improvises by using an object in place of an absent tool, adapts a game to play with a child, or plans a schedule

learning object in the educational field is considered as any kind of material that can be reused in teaching, such as a lesson plan, video, or section of a program code (Spalter & Dam, 2003), or it can be any digital or non-digital object and used or reused for the technical support of learning (Friesen, 2001).
