THE MAIN SCREEN is designed to provide to most and most


frequently used information and functions in an eye catching way.

Handler Status Display


The handler state indicates the current overall situation of the handler. The handler status display is located in the upper left corner of the main screen as shown in the figure.

LIST of Possible Handler State: Start Up the initial state of the system after power on or re-initialization. (The operator has to confirm the actual module configuration by pressing the OK button. This will switch the handler into the stop state. Run the handler runs without any problems Info the operator has to pay attention for any messages in the message field Stop the handler is stopped Error an error occurred that stopped the handler completely. (The operator has to fix the problem and restart the handler by pressing the START button.) Pending-Error an error happened (e.g. in a loader or unloader module) that did not necessarily stopped the whole handler. (The operator has to fix the problem and restart the stopped module by pressing the START button.) Operator Request an intervention of the operator is required

Lot Control
The lot control is located in the upper left corner of the main screen, just below the handler status display

Lot Information on the button the name of the actual lot is displayed. (Lot: lot name). Use this button to open the lot control window Change Lot please see next slide Total Bin Count the number of units that were tested and got a valid bin result from tester since the last lot reset Total Exit Count the number of units that were sorted to any output since the last lot reset End of Lot / Purge Press this button to define the Handler behavior to finish the current lot. When the End of Lot mode is enabled, the button turns yellow. You have two possible options: End of Lot with Purge Mode all remaining devices in the handler are assigned BIN31 until the handler is empty. All unloaders with other BIN numbers are marked as full. End of Lot without Purge Mode all remaining devices in the handler are handled normally until the handler is empty.

START and FINISH of LOT


After the handler has finished processing a lot, the operator may follow this procedure:

Check whether the handler is really empty and has not been stopped because of an error Pressing (End of Lot) forces all automatic unloaders to close their actual output containers and feed a new container (e.g. tube change). Remember that the Operator has the choice to purge all devices before EOL (End of Lot) or just EOL without purging. (Press Button: [ End of Lot / Purge] to select). Open the Change Lot display (see next slide) to define how to proceed with the nest lot. Change the output containers at the manual unloaders Feed the loaders with the new lot Press (START) to continue

Change Lot

Change Folder select in Only Reset (No Statistic Saved) reset the current lot
statistic. After the reset you have to enter a name for the next lot which folder the lot statistic data shall be saved

Save & Reset Lot Statistic you can save the current lot statistic. After the statistic is saved the lot statistic is reset. After the reset you have to enter a name for the next lot.

Save Only (No Reset) saves the current lot statistic. The statistic isnt reset and the handler continues with the current lot the data recording will continue with the previous values.
