1. A candidate must accomplish a selfassessment guide before making application for assessment.

2. The candidate must pay the required Assessment fee before being issued Admission slip to undertake assessment, in addition to the other requirements like pictures, ID card, etc.

3. The CoC shall make sure that the Assessment package be received only by the Accredited Assessor.

4. The assessor shall only admit for assessment candidates who are registered with valid ID card and Registration number.

5. Only candidates who signed the Competency Assessment Agreement form and the Attendance Sheet shall be allowed to proceed with the Assessment process.

6. The candidate is briefed by the Assessor, the DOs and DONTs inside the Assessment area.

7. The assessor shall conduct the assessment according to the procedures indicated in the Assessment package.

8. The assessor shall see to it that the candidate follows correctly the instructions in the Candidates Assessment package.

9. In the Practical Test, a candidate must accomplish all tasks/projects successfully resulting in a product, service or decision according to the Performance Criteria indicated in the OS.

10. Interview questions are made when the assessor is in doubt of the underpinning knowledge and skills of the candidate, during practical assessment, in terms of work procedures, safety, and use of equipment, tools and materials.

11. The assessor must not allow the candidate to go on the assessment process if procedures are missed or failures made which will definitely affect the final outcome. Also, if Safety is not properly practiced, which will put to risk life and property, Assessment is terminated.

12. The assessor shall hold confidential the result of assessment for every candidate;

13. The Assessor shall provide feedback to the candidate on the result of his assessment. This must be done in a very professional manner to enable the candidate to understand his deficiencies, especially for those who are observed as NOT YET COMPETENT.

14. Summary results of Assessment shall be accomplished on the day of the assessment. However, in the case of the Business occupations, where most of the assessment is done in written form, the Assessors shall do the corrections in the CoC, under supervision of the CoC.
