Partnership for International Understanding

This annual activity started in 2005 that provides opportunity for the school to promote intercultural understanding, education for sustainable development, natural and cultural heritage.

It is a week-long activity transforming each classroom of PNU-CTL into a life-sized interacting dioramas highlighting the cultures of different cultures.

Important customs and traditions are likewise presented in a truly creative and innovative way

Visitors can ask questions to students acting as Through this, tolerance and international tourist guides, taste the food they prepared, understanding is promoted. witness the dances and observe ways of life.

Eco Project

CTL students join hands in an eco project, Kita-kits sa Basura. Proceeds are used for ASPnet projects like Visits in heritage sites in Manila and the Philippine Congress to deepen national identity and pride.

CTL students take lead in sharing practices in taking care of the environment in an Eco-Camp joined by other students from other schools and universities.

CTL faculty and students finished the 3 Km run in the 10-10-10 Run for Pasig.

Two New Modules on ESD in Philippine Context


National Initiatives on ESD The module focuses on the government and non-government efforts in promoting environmental sustainability in the Philippines as part of the lesson on natural resources. These programs of the said agencies intends to commit participants to promote preserving and conserving the natural resources and cultural heritage of Filipinos.

Current Environmental Issues in the Philippines As part of the lesson on Regions of the Philippines, this module centers on the current issues and events particularly on ESD. The participants are expected to be acquainted with biodiversity and the natural resources of the Philippines. The module emphasizes responsible stewardship of natural resources, and how things are interdependent with one another.

ESD teaches us that


We should respect and love the different beliefs, cultures and traditions of other people all over the world. Righteousness starts from the family.

ESD instills in us that


the self is the central solution to all problems righteousness starts from the family. if theres a will, theres a way Peace can be attained through the absence of the sins of the world

We can find golden coins in trash To sustain our environment we should keep in mind the 5Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse and Repair

Rights and duties should always come together. Education and discipline are great factors to consider in taking care of the environment We should think globally and act locally
