The project aims in designing of a system which is capable of tracking the location of cardiac patients and also monitoring of heart rate. The system monitors patient's health status, such as heart rate, co and body temperature. The values obtained like heart rate, co and body temperature is also displayed on to the attached LCD in alphanumerical form

 Now

a days technology is running with time it completely occupied the life style of human beings . In India 18.8% of the deaths are caused due to heart diseases. Surviving a cardiac patient depends on the treatment that is given within the initial stage . Most common reason for treatment delay is patient unawareness.

In this project we are making use of technology to sense serious health problems.

So that efficient medical Services can be provided to the patient in appropriate time.

is a precision IC temperature sensor with its output proportional to the temperature (in oC). The operating temperature range is from -55C to 150C. The output voltage varies by 10mV in response to every oC rise/fall in ambient temperature, i.e., its scale factor is 0.01V/ oC.

(Recommended Standard - 232) is a telecommunications standard for binary serial communications between devices. It supplies the roadmap for the way devices speak to each other using serial ports. The devices are commonly referred to as a DTE (data terminal equipment)and DCE (data communications equipment); for example, a computer and modem, respectively.

Here's how GPS works in five logical steps The basis of GPS is "triangulation" from satellites. It's really "trilateration.

To "triangulate," a GPS receiver measures distance using the travel time of radio signals. To measure travel time, GPS needs very accurate timing which it achieves with some tricks. Along with distance, you need to know exactly where the satellites are in space. High orbits and careful monitoring are the secret. Finally you must correct for any delays the signal experiences as it travels through the atmosphere.

The REMOTE MONITORING OF HUMAN HEALTH AND ALERT SYSTEM FOR CARDIAC PATIENTS USING GSM AND GPS has been successfully designed with innovative features and its performance is tested. In our experiments data concerning heart rate, respiratory rate and body temperature levels were gathered simultaneously in real time and with minimal data losses The refinement of our system will be of benefit in medical applications where patients need monitoring continuously in various environments.

 In

future improvements can be made to the Health Monitoring system by introducing new sensors and by integrating alarm triggering algorithms and advanced security techniques.
