TWO KINDS OF SPEAKERS

Those that are Nervous Those that are Liars

Presentation Skills
Presentation is ideas, concepts or issues talked about or spoken to a group or audience

Public speaking is one of the most feared things I could make such a fool of myself
Skills required to give a good presentation can be developed

Preparation is the Key

Define the need of your audience

Define the purpose

Know your message inside out

How to organize your presentation

Structuring the Presentation

Dont memorize, internalize

Tell it your friends and ask feed back

Record yourself with a voice recorder or video And watch it

Practice what you would do if an emergency or falling ladder or obnoxious hackler disrupts your presentation

Arrive earlier and get familiar with the setting

Test technology Dont be that awkward guy fumbling with the devices

Mingle a bit. It will help to have some familiar faces when you give your talk

Never make routine announcements in the first 60 seconds. Do not drone on and on about people you want to thank or how honored you are to be invited to speak today.

Do not rustle your papers or check your notes.

Do not cough or take a sip of water. You have 60 seconds to win over your audience.
Do not be routine. Be immediately interesting

Good luck with your next presentation. Go dazzle them.
