Section 3: Teaching Approaches


3.1 Course description Concepts of holistic health; principles of health promotion covering physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects; prevention and reduction of risky behaviors; self-help concepts that promote good health and improve the quality of life 3.2 Course credits: 2(2-0-4)

Section 4: How does your student apply the knowledge from the class into everyday lives?
(For life, quality of life, weight, nutrition, movement, diseases, stress, violence prevention skill, improve personality) Ethics: Always quote references in their written reports. Body of Knowledge: Utilization of General Educational concepts in Holistic Health Promotion for their friends and colleagues. Intellectual skills: Through reading / listening/ discussion, and presentation, students will have chances to exchange ideas and experiences with instructors and friends and through other methods of learning, the students will earn more intellectual skills. Interpersonal skills: Students will develop their interpersonal skills from discussion in classes/ interviewing/ presentations/ others for communication skills with the others. Responsibilities: The students take their responsibilities from schedule and assignments to do their works on their own. Consequently, students will apply these habits into their everyday lives.

Analytical skills: The students should have analytical skills in qualitative and /or quantitative skills from their own works and can extend their experiences to their further studies. Communication skills: From practicing presentation/ discussion/ and other activities in class, students should develop their skills in searching. Also, students should earn experiences in communication skills in many contexts and be able to apply to their works and lives. Innovation and Technologies: All experiences from searching this course should assist them to be ready to gain more experience in innovation and Technologies.
