Presentation Tools: Common Mistakes


Hand out the materials when it makes sense to hand them out (i.e., not at the beginning if it isnt necessary til later). Rehearse the presentation, so that you dont read off the Powerpoint presentation and the clicker knows the transitions/flow. Dry-run the presentation with the mics, laptop, etc. Budget time properly and have someone stand in the back to show you when you have X minutes left.
