Fishing provides food. Fishermen are trained workers. They catch a variety of fish for different reasons. Fishing is common at oceans, lakes, rivers, and ponds. They use various fishing methods. Equipment used: fishing poles, nets, spears, hooks, and shovels. They use ice and salt to transport their catch. Fishermen travel on commercial fishing vessels hundreds of miles from shore to catch desired fish. Some work on small boats in shallow water.

Nurses can work in community clinics or hospitals. Nurses working in hospitals can choose to work in the In-Patient Unit, the Out-Patient Unit, the Intensive Care Unit, and the Maternity unit. They can choose to specialize in any area of expertise. However the core responsibility of a nurse is to provide nursing care to those who need it.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


A nurse is responsible for the well-being of the patient/s. Nursing includes regular check ups or monitoring of the patient's condition. Reporting the information to the correct people. Nurses provide treatments to patients. Providing treatment to the patient plays a key role in their overall recovery. Nurses must be able to explain the illness and treatment provided to the patients. Other responsibilities include: Team work. Plan and implement nursing care policies. Evaluate ongoing practices Improve the nursing care provided by the clinic or hospital

Nurses are governed by the medical board.
