INTRODUCTION
AN E-PORTFOLIO IS A COLLECTION OF WORK
DEVELOPED ACROSS VARIED CONTEXTS OVER
TIME. (clemson.edu, 2014). IT IS A VERY USEFUL
TOOL THAT EVERY SINGLE TEACHER SHOULD DO
IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR TEACHING AND
REALIZE HOW THEY ARE DOING THEIR
TEACHING PRACTICE.
PERSONAL INFORMATION

Milton Martinez is 25 years-old. He studied from
seventh grade to highschool at Instituto
Nacional de Usulutan and got graduated on
2006. He is studying his fifth year of English
Bachelor Degree at Universidad Gerardo Barrios.
In order to keep studying he was working for
two years as a cook, waiter and barist at Pizza
Hut.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
He was teaching to a cousin at home.
He developed his social service at UGB, in an
English course which had students from
Instituto Nacional de Concepcion Batres as
students.
He performed his teaching practice at
Instituto Nacional de Usulutan in a UGB
project.
He teaches to a 5 years-old nephew at home
APPROACH
He has worked with the communicative
approach, because English is not a subject, it is
a language that is being taught as a subject. By
the use of the communicative approach, he
has been teaching English as a language,
trying to make students to communicate
among them and the teacher.
METHODOLOGY
The mix of some methods such ADLM and
DM, are very helpful for me because he can
use realia and full English with my students,
those are the methods that he trusts the
most. But he reinforces them with TPR, CLL
and GTM, in order to make it more interactive
and practical for the students.

PROBLEMS PRESENTED
Some students presented some learning
problem, some of them did not know how to
apply the rules of the third person singular
(for example), it is kind of hard for them to
describe something by using third person
singular, but by practicing, they are improving
and showing their desire for learning.
PRODUCTS OF TEACHING
Students have been
doing their best in
order to keep in the
course, and they have
been doing different
types of activities in
which they have learnt
a lot by focusing on

and Learning by
doing.
GOALS
Short Term Goals:
To have a degree in English.
To be working in a good institution
(highschool or university).
To become into a prepared teacher.
Long Term Goals:
To be studying a Master degree.
To work in a university.
LEARNING REFLEXION
Only a teacher? Thank God I have a calling to
the greatest profession of all! I must be
vigilant every day lest I lose one fragile
opportunity to improve tomorrow. Ivan

Being a teacher is one of the best experiences
he has had, it has been important, because it
has changed his thoughts and his life, he
cannot longer be a simple careless student of
teaching, he has to accept the challenge and
do his best day by day in order to improve
himself and be able to help to shape students.
DIPLOMAS
CONCLUSION
Being a teacher means not only to keep in touch
with the student by having physical class, we can
use technology in order to engage and attract
students into the process of learning, but first,
we have to commit ourselves in order to be
conscious teachers and care about our teaching
improvement too, because we do not know
everything, and we have to keep ourselves
committed and updated.
