Many healthcare organizations are considering
outsourcing portions of their information systems
functions as an alternative to in-house staffing. The
decision to outsource entails purchasing the services
from an external vendor or contractor (buy) rather
than hiring the staff and producing the service inhouse
(make). This make-buy decision must be seriously
considered as the complexity of healthcare IM/IT
increases. Traditionally, the term outsourcing
has been associated with a contract for facilities
management. More recently, however, the term is used
in a broader context to denote contracting with

Resources Information System / IRIS) adalah :

- Sistem Informasi Akuntansi
mengumpulkan data internal yang menjelaskan data transaksi
dengan para pemasok.
- Subsistem Riset Sumber Daya Informasi
menjelaskan kegiatan-kegiatan proyek riset didalam
perusahaan. Dilakukan oleh System Analist melalui interaksi dengan
user.


Subsistem Intelijen Sumber Daya Informasi
menjelaskan fungsi yang berhubungan
dengan pengumpulan informasi dari unsur-unsur
lingkungan.
