Technical Features of BTS3606
Support both the CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO standards.
Support CDMA2000 1X /1xEV-DO hybrid networking. The ratio of
CDMA2000 1X and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO carriers is flexible.
Allow mixed configuration of single-channel and multi-channel
transceiver modules.
Support high-power coverage and large-capacity coverage using carriers
of different frequencies for a single sector,
Technical Features of BTS3606
Support the mixed insertion of different-band carriers in the same
cabinet.
The BTS3606 can be cascaded with the ODU3601C to expand the
coverage area of radio network flexibly.

BCIM : BTS Control Interface Module
Interface board of Abis with 8 E1/T1 cables
CCPM : Cpmpact-BTS Channel process Module
Channel Process
Two Types
- Type A: provide forward 128 forward CE and 64
reverse CE
- Type B: provide forward 256 forward CE and 128
reverse CE
Connect to ODU3601C by optical port.

BCKM : BTS Control and Clock Module
Signaling processing
Adopts the GPS/GLONASS as an external
clock/resource to provide 1PPS (One pulse/second)
and GPS.
System Management

CECM : Compact-BTS EV-DO Channel Module
Channel process for EV-DO
Provide forward 96 forward CE and 48 reverse CE
Connect to ODU3601C by optical port

CDDU : Compact-BTS Dual Duplexer Unit
Two Duplexer inside, low band filter
CTRM : Compact-BTS Transceiver Module
RF signal transmitting and receiving
CMTR : Compact-BTS Multi-channel Transceiver
Module
CMTR can support 1x carrier and EV-DO carrier
simultaneously. E.g 2 1x carriers and 1 EV-DO
carrier cab be configured in 1 CMTR
Note : CMTR and CMPA will substitute for CTRM and
CHPA when multi-carrier applied.
CFMM : Compact-BTS Fan Monitor Module
CHPA : Compact-BTS High Power Amplifier
RF power amplification
CMPA : Compact-BTS Multi-channel Power
Amplifier
CMPA amplifies RF modulation signals from CMTR
or CTRM.

BTS 3606 Power Supply Subsystem
Subsystem uses three PSUs in full configuration. The PSUs work in the
2+1 redundancy mode.
Can use -48 V DC input or +24 V DC input
Input voltage: -40 V DC ~ -60 V DC (only -48V input)
OUT voltage: +27V
