MEDICAL IMAGING SUITE
The medical imaging suite is the application to use hospital and
imaging center with single or multiple modalities.

In this application consist of PACS (Picture Archiving
Communication System), Image Viewer, Reporting, RIS (Radiology
Information System), Billing and Administration.

This application to provide to store the patient details and get back
the information when it can be needed. The PACS server to store
the scanning image and imported image. Then it also perform
retrieval, distribution and presentation of image.

The medical imaging suite provide the different type of reporting
option to the doctors and print the patient report in different format.

EXISTING SYSTEM
In the existing system the radiologist to scan the patient body then
waiting for the output image. This output scanning image can get the
printing format (hardcopy).

So doctors to spent many more time for this work.

The existing system the radiologist will be outside the hospital cant
view the patient report.

In this system cant edit the scanning image ad cant get the different
format of the image.

The patient information or scanning image does not distribute the
other system.

Cant create the custom reports and templates.

Here does not monitoring the overall scan status.


PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system to scan the patient body then get the
scanning image in computer then this image sent to the consultant
(Doctor) system. So doctors to consult a many patient at a time.

Then the patient get our report in front office in different style or
format.

In some time doctor will be outside of the hospital and he get the
patient report via internet by downloading our server.

Here the PACS server to distribute the image and retrieving the
image for our server.

The file importer to convert the DICOM image.

The proposed system to provide the editing the scanning image and
get the report in different file format.


In this system to create the custom reports and templates.

Here to provide the administration option also to create the
users to access the server.

The administration can managing the modalities and storage
device.

The patient report can write the CD and film printing option
also there in proposed system.

In this system to monitoring the overall scanning status.

The RIS will be store the patient reports.






PROPOSED SYSTEM
ADVANTAGES
Main advantage of this application is time consumption. So doctors to
see the number of patients at a time.

The another main advantage is the doctor get to the patient information
via internet by downloading from our server.

Editing the image and it can be provide the CD writing and film printing.

The output to get the different file format.

The RIS provide to the modality wise scheduling.

Doctors to check the status for scanning process (Completed or
pending). It can be indicated by different color like pink blue and etc


ADVANTAGES
Here to create the custom reports and templates. Reports like
small word Style and Advanced code based reporting.

The PACS server to store the image DICOM format.

The file importer to convert the image any format to DICOM
format.

The output of the scanning image to export the different file
format and it also provide the mailing option.

To provide the option to making the mistake in reports and
highlighting on pending reports.

Here workload will be reduced.

Sample calculation for existing system and proposed
System.

The existing system:
1 patient = 8min, So 10 patient = 80min ( 1 hour 20min)

In proposed system:
1 patient = 1min, So 10 patient = 10min

Compare the existing system and proposed system
10 patient = 80min (Existing System)
10 patient = 10min (Proposed System)
So 80min 10min = 70min

The doctors using this system to save the time and consult
the number of patients at a time.
