Greenhouse means?
Greenhouse Gases.
The changes in the atmospheres
concentration of greenhouse gases can affect
the Earth's temperature

Negative effects

Effects of Global Warning on Life
Possible solutions: How to reduce The Green
House Effect?
Conclusion
The Green House Effect
The greenhouse effect
is a term that describes
how natural gases in
the earth's atmosphere
reduce the amount of
heat escaping from the
earth into the
atmosphere.
The more of these
gases there are, the
more the Earth heats
up.
Greenhouse means?
Most greenhouses
look like a small
glass house.

Greenhouses are
used to grow plants,
especially in the
winter.

Greenhouse Gases
Water vapor
Carbon dioxide
(CO
2
)
Methane (CH
4
)
Nitrous oxide (N
2
O)
Carbon monoxide
Ozone
Halocarbons
Smoke and Dust
Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere
Photosynthesis
balance to keep
the amount of
atmospheric
carbon relatively
stable.

Industrialization,
has contributed
additional
carbon dioxide
to the
environment.

Solar energy is
absorbed by the Earth
and the oceans.

Reradiates back on out
into the atmosphere,
into stratosphere.

The burning of fossil
fuel create a veil in the
atmosphere
How does Greenhouse Effect occur?
Negative Effects
Droughts in most
of the agricultural
areas in the
world.
Negative Effects
The melting of the
polar ice caps
and subsequent
flooding of coastal
areas.
Hypotheses about the
Greenhouse Effect.
1. The Global Warming is taking place.
2. The Global Cooling is going to occur.
3. Neither Global Warming nor Cooling
will occur or has been occurring.
Effects of Global Warning on Life
Climate Change and
global Warming
Rise of sea Level
Increase of disease
Environmental
Changing
Increase of natural
disasters
How to reduce the Greenhouse
Effect
BY THE GOVERNMENT:

Stabilization of the
population growth.
Reduction of air pollution
from industries (international
agreements)
Reduction of desertification
and protection of the
rainforest against the
clearance (national
programs)
Finding alternative fuel
How to reduce the Greenhouse
Effect
BY PEOPLE:

Reduce the use of fossil
fuel
Stop the clearance of
the forest
Follow the
recommendations to
reduce the emission of
Greenhouse gases.

How to reduce the Greenhouse
Effect
BY US
Be well inform about the consequences
of Greenhouse Effect
Change your lifestyle habits to help
save the environment
Plant trees.
Eliminate the use of CFCs
Conclusion
Cutting down forest and burning fossil fuels
create more CO2 in the air.
When there are more greenhouse gases,
more heat is radiated towards Earths
surface, this produce Global warming.
Even global temperature changes of less
than 1 degree can cause problems, like sea
level rise and changes in rainfall.
Find solutions such as: reduce population,
reduce air pollution, stop desertification.
