CT adalah penerapan pemikiran rasional
dengan menggunakan higher order thinking
skills seperti analisis, sintesis, pengenalan
masalah dan penyelesaian masalah, serta
evaluasi(Angelo, 1995).
Memberdayakan ketrampilan atau strategi
kognitif dalam menentukan tujuan. (Halpen,
1999)
