visa, applicant needs to be outside Australia while for Permanent
visa, applicant can be within or outside Australia.

commonly applied and granted visa program for skilled workers.
With this visa, a skilled worker can come to Australia to work in

visa is valid for up to four years. Individual applying for the visa
must be sponsored by an approved business. A business can
sponsor a person only if they are unable to fulfill the vacancy for
skilled worker with a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
Applications for this visa are processed by DIBP (Department of
Immigration and Border Protection). Immediate families of visa
applicants can accompany them along for a period from one day
to four years.
