PRINCIPLES
The first is a heavy reliance on teamwork , in which everyone's
opinion is valued and considered.

Workers also have strong personal discipline , and morale in
factories must improve under kaizen

Workers should also be confident about offering suggestions for
improvement, even when a system appears to be functioning
adequately

Kaizen recognizes that there is always room for improvement

Finally, the system uses quality circles, worker groups who
meet and work together to solve problems and come up with
innovative changes

STEP 1: Ask yourself simple questions
Dream big; break it into many questions
Avoid But how
What is the first thing I can do to?
or Can I spend a few minutes daily doing?

STEP 2: Make time
Review your daily schedule critically and be realistic
Find where can you make time
Discipline yourself

Step 3: Stay Positive
Never get the feeling I will never get there or It is so far away!
Remind yourself that every small step will take you to your goal

STEP 4: Celebrate your success
Set milestones and reward yourself
Your reward has to be in line with the goal
E.g.: If you are trying to be healthy then, on achieving the milestone, reward
yourself with a delicious salad in that nice restaurant downtown

STEP 5: Break down your goal
Break your big goal from general to specific
Outline the small steps you can take
E.g.: If the goal is to read more books on personality development, a specific
step can be to start with 20 minutes of reading per day
