Continuing education is critical to
delivering the best possible medical
care . The Outpatient Quality
Improvement Network began in 1999
with a vision to move South Carolina
from worst to first in cardiovascular
mortality. Education continues to be
and important ingredient in delivering
on this mission. CME/Lean for Health
Six Sigma helps move quality
improvement to the next step
"Six Sigma Saves Fortune 500 $427
Billion" according to research done by
iSix Sigma Magazine. That is why 82 of
the Fortune 100 companies actively use
Six Sigma.
Offer on line CME that teaches lean six
sigma tools. Participants will be able
to use their data from the OQUIN
database to develop and execute
improvement projects.
The new wealth of medical data
provided by EMRs makes lean six
sigma a very good tool for practices.
Lean for Health Six Sigma will help OQUIN
continue to serve providers and practices
. The combination of quality
improvement and practice based
research has created a win-win
relationship.
Lean for Health Six Sigma education is
developed. It provides and opportunity
for providers to use their own data
coupled with tested lean six sigma tools
to significantly improve.

OQUIN network.

offered to encourage growth and
continued improvement.
