History
was previously known as Bale Pinpin
which mean laid aside
The name came about when it lost
several barrios in 1810.
was founded on December 19, 1598
It was just a visita of Arayat in 1590 but
became an independent parish in 1756.
was made part of Arayat at 1905 and
became a separate municipality again
on January 1, 1913
When the Americans came and
established a civil government, they had
very few willing taxpayers so it was
made part of Arayat in 1905. But
recognized as a separate municipality
later through the petition of its
representatives.

Named like this due to its proximity to
Baculud, now known as Bacolor.
was started as a clearing and settlement
in a place called Gasac
Now known as San Isidro.

It was a part of Porac in 1697 but
became an independent town in 1770
was named after St. Rita of Cascia
She was the patron saint because there
were reports that before a lot of
innocent women were raped and
murdered in the place because it is
located near forests.
