What is Pixel Resolution?

Resolution is the capability of the sensor to observe
the smallest object clearly with distinct boundaries.
But a Pixel is actually a unit of the digital image.
Resolution depends upon the size of the pixel.
The smaller the size of the pixel, the higher Resolution
will be and clearer the object in the image.
Images having smaller pixel size occupy more space
on disk.
Example..

Bit colour
What is Bit colour?
Each Pixel is measured by bits based on their color.
1 bit-2 colours, 2 bit-4 colours, 3 bit- 8 colours.. And so
on
Example:

How the Size is determined?

Example: 640 x 480 pixel image with 24-bit
640*480*24=7,372,800 bits = 921,600 bytes = 0.92 Mb
