The above information, TPD send the
information to Branch server

Branch server constructs 2 messages
a. Card+Pin for authentication
b.Transaction message for CBS

Swipes the card
Selects transaction type
Enters Data
Enters PIN
Presses enter to submit transaction
Step 4:
Message a is received by Switch
Switch identifies the card and
authenticates the Pin
As a response if valid pin, then sends
primary account number or else sends
error message
Step 5a:
On Positive response from Switch
Branch server, sends OK message back
to TPD
On wrong PIN, TPD ask customer to
follow step 1:

On Positive response from Switch,
Branch server, sends message b to
CBS to fetch CIF etc

concept and its benefits.
They are expected to extend all
possible support and guidance to the
employees connected with the project.

GENERAL MATTERS
GCC transactions will appear like ATM and INB
transactions in VVR, since no voucher is involved
in it.
Hence, checking/verification of VVR is also not
required.
Customer identification is solely on the basis of
PIN validation. Once the PIN is validated, the
transaction is treated as an authorised
transaction by the customer.
Dispute Redressal Mechanism Matrix is in the
order of Branch Manager, Regional Manager and
GM of Network.
