to the government in overcoming the
negative effect from development.

To reduce the energy usage rate at the same time

Facilitate the growth of the GT industry and enhance its
contribution to the national economy.
Increase national capability and capacity for innovation in
GT development and enhance Malaysia competitiveness
in GT in the global arena.
Ensure the sustainability development and conserve the
environment for future generation and enhance public
education and awareness in GT and encourage its
widespread use.

 Green Building is the practice of creating

structures and using process that are
environmentally responsible and resourceefficient through a building life-cycle. These
processes are from siting to design, construction,
operation, maintenance, renovation and
deconstruction. The purpose of this practice is
concerning to economy, utility, durability and
comfort.

 The main objective of green building is to reduce the

overall impact of the built environment on human health
and the natural environment. The reducing of that
impact are through energy, water and other resources
efficiency. It is also to protect occupants health and
improving employee productivity, reducing waste,
pollution, and environmental degradation.
The main goal of green building is siting and structure
design efficiency, energy efficiency, water efficiency and
materials efficiency; indoor environmental quality
enhancement, operations and maintenance optimization;
and waste reduction.
