about positive and negative integers last year.

1) The record low temperatures for a town in New York for January are 34F and in February -25F. Order the temperatures from least to greatest.

2) On a Wednesday January the temperature was -10F. One month later

in February, the temperature increased 25 degrees. What was the new
temperature? Order the temperatures from least to greatest.

3) Johns time for running the mile in gym class is 9.2 minutes. Elsas time
is 9.18 minutes. Who ran the mile in less time? Order the numbers from
least to greatest.

Ordering in Word Problems II 5 min

1) Ms. Cave teachers at P.S. 178 in Brooklyn. She gives bonus points on tests for
clear answers, and deducts points for unclear answers. She wrote the following on
students papers:

Student A: -2 points, Student B: -2.5 points. Did student A or student B perform worse
on the test?
