Conflict management is the process of limiting negative conflict while increasing positive aspects. The goal is to enhance learning and group outcomes. There are two types of conflict: in the mind involving competing views, and in society between two people, groups, verbally or physically. Conflicts in the mind can be resolved through critical self-reflection. Conflicts in society can be reduced by developing strong human relations, addressing the root causes of conflicts between individuals and groups, and promoting peace in how people think and act.
