with a multi-story book store, 12 cinema halls and other
entertainment facilities. The mall is popular among the youth in
Bangalore and is an attraction to those coming tobanglore. The
shopping mall houses 72,000m2(780,000sqft) of shops over five
levels.A major attraction at the mall is the multiplex,PVR

screens showing the latest movies - all this with
stadium seating, wall-to-wall screens and mind
blowing sound
It has 9 restaurants and 65 world class
shopping.
The size of the shop varies from 400 sqft to

Land mark owns the biggest shop of an area of
40000sqft.
There are 3 atriums to ensure good natural
lighting inside the building.

connected to the Bangalore city by a four-lane express
highway (Bangalore-Hosur highway).
Even though it is well connected to the Bangalore city,
it gets very congested during the peak hours, thus
leading to a necessity of a future expansions in
Electronic city for the well being of the local residents.

SITE ANALYSIS
SOIL: Reddish brown clayey soil and cemented sand up
to a depth of 6.5m, followed by disintegrated rock.
WATER TABLE: The water table is 10m below the ground
level.
TOPOGRAPHY: The site having no contour or levels is
thus feasible for any type of construction. As per the land
use of the area the site comes within the commercial
area.
The site slopes down from north to south. There are no
water bodies found in the site.
The site has two main roads on two sides, the road is
20m wide.

composite panels & glass.

The structure for this building is a framed structure,
steel is used along the face of the building to hold the
glass panels.
The important except of this building is that it has car
parks in all levels and the structure is separate from
the structure of the building.
There are 5 floors of car parks where as only four
floors as shopping/theatres.
