our educational system, viz., lack of opportunities for
promoting entrepreneurship among the students. It is a
flexible skill-based training centre for enriching the

CAREER DEVELOPMENT (IECD)

Main Activities of IECD

The IECD works under three dimensional activities i.e.
conceiving, designing and operating various short-term
job-oriented certificate and diploma courses for student
and non-student youth.
To get rid of unemployment problem prevailing in our
country, this IECD is offering its hand in reducing such
a problem by way of giving entrepreneurship training to
the youth of the community. Thus IECD is acting both
as entrepreneurial training and consultancy institute.
It organizes several inter-collegiate campus interviews
to the students affiliated to Bharathidasan University in
collaboration with multi-national companies and thus
secures job to the students community.
