into an industrial one.
It is the transformation of raw materials into finished
products through the use of machines.

This type of industry involves the manufacture of raw
materials into components
Sometimes referred to as Manufacturing

consumers.

This type of industry provides services rather than
producing goods.

Examples
Sales, repair services, banking, and insurance are all
part of the tertiary industry.
People who work in the tertiary sector include workers
in the tourism and hospitality industry, doctors, and
other healthcare professionals.

Quaternary Industries
This type of industry consists of those industries
providing information services, such as computing, ICT
(information and communication technologies),
consultancy (offering advice to businesses) and
Research &Development (research, particularly in
scientific fields).
