financial advisor in local recruitment cell for the
company.
Sub objectives:
To study the current financial consultant market.
To know where DLF PRAMERICA stand in recruitment
of financial advisors.
To know the preference & satisfaction level of advisors.

What is financial consultant?


A financial consultant offers money management advice to people and
businesses. Most people employ them for guidance on how to reach long-term
financial goals, which may include a debt management plan, investment advice, or
developing a savings plan. Organizations also work with consultants to make sure
their business plans are financially viable and to manage money programs for
employees.

Areas of Focus
Financial consultants generally focus on retirement advice, investments, and debt
management, though some advisers help clients coordinate all of their financial
goals. Corporations sometimes work with a financial planner on ways to deal with
financial challenges. A business might request help with budgeting issues or ways
to manage the company's debt. Some companies employ financial advisers to
answer employees' questions about their benefits and retirement plans.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research and experimental development (R&D) comprise creative work
undertaken on a systematic basis in order to increase the stock of knowledge,
including knowledge of man, culture and society, and the use of this stock of
knowledge to devise new applications." It is used to establish or confirm
facts, reaffirm the results of previous work, solve new or existing problems,
support theorems, or develop new theories. A research project may also be an
expansion on past work in the field. To test the validity of instruments,
procedures, or experiments, research may replicate elements of prior projects,
or the project as a whole. The primary purposes of basic research (as opposed
to applied research) are documentation, discovery, interpretation, or the
research and development of methods and systems for the advancement of
human knowledge. Approaches to research depend on epistemologies, which
vary considerably both within and between humanities and sciences. There are
several forms of research: scientific, humanities, artistic, economic, social,
business, marketing, practitioner research, etc.

Sample size:
The sample size for the survey was 100 It consisted of 52 Businessmen,
28Professionals, and 20 Students.

The required data is collected both from primary as well as secondary sources:

Questionnaire which included multiple choice questions.

Pamphlets
Library etc.

Analysis
At the time of recruitment when I consider the age factor age group between 25 to 30 is
more conscious to work as a financial consultant because they want to earn more money or
we can say that they want to earn more in comparison to the earning presently.

FINDINGS
The report will tell you about some findings:

The financial consultant helps in reaching out to very uncommon


customers due to their own relationship and recommendation.

The DLF PREMERICA policies are very helpful to any consultant ,
so that He/She can regulate their policies.

The mode of clearance of paper work and money transactions
make consultant comfortable in working with DLF PRAMERICA.
This is an opinion survey which relates to the non - consumer of
the DLF PRAMERICA in which people's opinion with other was
sougth to know their views to work as a financial consultant

Assumptions & Limitations


Assumption:
It is assumed that chosen sample is representative of the whole population.

It is assumed that the customer had provided information without being


biased on the facility provided by different companies.

Limitation:
The study has not been conducted on a large scale and hence the possibility
of error cannot be ruled out.

Some of the customers were not very much interested in answering the
qestions and hence took them casually.

Samples have been selected on approach basis.

RECOMMENDATIONS & SUGGESTIONS


The following recommendation is given after the complete
and through study of the project:
Number of branches should be increased.
Processing must be simple.
Premium of the policies should be reduced.
Group should concentrate more on rural areas.
Status of the policies should be delievered to the policy holder on
time.
DLF PRAMERICA may undertake more advertising and publicity.
They should adopt aggressive marketing strategy.
They wanted to give advanced training to their financial
consultant.
DLF PRAMERICA wanted to conduct motivational programmed for
their employees and for their certified financial consultant

CONCLUSION
In the survey existing customer of DLF PRAMERICA
were apprroached to know the importance of the
financial consultant in the organisation.

These people are highly satisfied with the products


and services of the organisation and services of the
financial consultant.
Now we can say that the financial consultant plays
an important role in the growth and in the sakes
promotion of an organisation with refrences to
insurance sector.
