evil that we did to him. 16 So they
sent a message to Joseph, saying,
Your father gave this command
before he died: 17 Say to Joseph,
Please forgive the transgression of
your brothers and their sin, because
they did evil to you.

Genesis 50:15-21
And now, please forgive the
transgression of the servants of the
God of your father. Joseph wept
when they spoke to him. 18 His
brothers also came and fell down
before him and said, Behold, we
are your servants. 19 But Joseph
said to them, Do not fear, for am I
in the place of God?

Genesis 50:15-21
20 As for you, you meant evil
against me, but God meant it for
good, to bring it about that many
people should be kept alive, as they
are today. 21 So do not fear; I will
provide for you and your little ones.
Thus he comforted them and spoke
kindly to them.

Romans 8:28-29
28 And we know that for those who
love God all things work together
for good, for those who are called
according to his purpose. 29 For
those whom he foreknew he also
predestined to be conformed to the
image of his Son, in order that he
might be the firstborn among many
brothers.

What is the good that

God is working out for
His children?

God is molding us to
make us become like
Jesus.

Is this something good?

Is this something we
want?

God's purposes
overrule man's
actions.

This is not a license

to sin or tolerating
sin. This is giving us
hope that God is in
charge even in the
midst of pain &
suffering.

What would you need to

change in your life to realign your life to God's
purposes?

positive ending but for
most of us, we don't
know what our ending
will be like...

God may bring us to the

lowest of the lowest to
complete His perfect
work in us - to make us
become like Jesus & to
bring glory to His name.

have tribulation..."
