The new KV-S1026C / KV-S1015C features a slim, compact body that fits almost
anywhere and offers both easy operation and advanced features. This highperformance scanner is ideal for business use where space is limited.
The series also features three buttons on the top panel for registering frequently
used addresses. This lets the user send scanned data easily and directly to preregistered addresses without any need for a PC. The paper feed mechanism is
equipped with Active Double Feed Prevention Roller System that is similar to those
on larger business machines, to reduce double-sheet feeding and ensure reliable
scanning of a large number of documents.

SOHO
The KV-S1015C's small footprint allows it to conveniently fit into small spaces, such
as reception counters. Placing it at the reception area of a pharmacy or hospital
allows customer or patient ID cards and other documents to be quickly scanned.
This enables real-time information sharing to help provide fast, accurate service.

Office
The KV-S1026C can quickly convert a large number of documents into electronic
data, so it provides smooth usage even in offices with many users.
Scanning documents into data makes it possible to consolidate information, which
improves work efficiency.
When linked with an application, scanned data can be saved in a cloud service, and
data can be directly scanned from the cloud-based server. And it lowers the cost of
handling documents and reduces the space needed to store them.

2. Reliable paper feed mechanism
1) Active Double-Feed Prevention Roller
Instead of automatically rotating, conventional double
feed prevention rollers operated only from a stopped
position. This sometimes made it impossible for the
roller to prevent the top document from being fed in
advance, and resulted in double feeding.

We added a spring that allows the double feed prevention roller

to spontaneously rotate in reverse when a document is fed.
This presses against, and returns, the second and subsequent
documents that are trying to be fed in advance, and staggers
them behind the leading document.
